Juno Reactor

Ben Watkins aka Juno Reactor a pioneer of the electronic trance scene, originating from the Goa  underground in Europe and India circa 1990, visually and musically constantly morphing and exploring diverse new areas. The musical journey of Juno Reactor is wide and varied, the powerful hybrid of The Matrix blockbusters, orchestral soundtracks (Brave Story), pure electronics (Mortal Combat), collaborations and touring with South Africa’s traditional tribal percussion group Amampondo, Steve Stevens of Billy Idol, Budgie from Siouxsie and the Banshees, producing Zulu band Skeleton amongst others.

As well as releasing a string of influential albums as Juno Reactor, Watkins’ tracks have been placed in numerous high profile feature films, television programmes and computer games and Ben Watkins composed large sections of the original score for the films ‘The Matrix Reloaded’ and ‘The Matrix Revolutions’, as well as composing the entire score for Japanese anime feature film ‘Brave Story’.

Juno Reactor has appeared on some of the worlds famous festivals - Burning Man, Fuji Rock, Glastonbury, Roskilde, Ozora, Defcon, Moby USA tour 1997, Pink Pop festival,  Yin Yang Festival (Great Wall of China), Summersonic, Castle Festival, VooV, Psi-Fi, Earthcore, etc
